Changing the Landscape of Logistic Sector: Way Towards Green Logistics in Circular Economy

The transition from a linear to a sustainable circular economy is essential to achieving sustainability and minimising environmental impact. Green logistics is central to this transition, as it leverages environmentally conscious practices in supply chain management, reduces carbon footprint, maximises transport efficiency and improves waste management. This study discusses the importance of green logistics in driving value in the circular economy and evaluates key strategies such as reverse logistics, green warehousing, and digital technologies such as AI and IoT. It also examines the impact of green logistics on businesses, consumers and the environment, highlighting both positive and negative points associated with its implementation. By adopting sustainable logistics solutions, companies can increase operational resilience, improve regulatory compliance, and help ensure long-term economic and environmental sustainability.
