The government standard adopted in 2024 is the proof of the relevancy of person-centered care in Russian Federation. This standard describes the most important person-centered elements including a comfortable atmosphere, improvement of communications between patients, their families and medical professionals, safe and decent working conditions for staff, etc. Purpose of the study is to analyze current trends for the implementation of a person-centered model of medical organization, to give recommendations for its practical realization. Materials and methods. The scientific articles from databases pubmed, elibrary were studied. Results. For easier implementation of government standard R71549–2024 in common practice a number of actions was suggested. The text of GOST was presented in the form of a diagram and check-lists which can be used to prepare for the improvement of personcentered care in medical organizations. Findings. Suggestions described in the standard give a general direction towards the goal but do not provide specific ways of its realization. Therefore, organizations are free to make decisions concerning methods and instruments that can be used. A diagram with main information from the standard and relevant check-list can become valuable instruments for informing, educating of personnel, preparing for the project and controlling its progress.
