Development of technology for manufacturing of "bushing" part made of copper-based powder material containing titanium by direct extrusion

The technology for manufacturing the "bushing" part by direct extrusion of a powder porous billet made of a copper-based material with a titanium content of 6 % is presented. The technology includes operations: pressing of the billet with a porosity of 20 %, sintering at a temperature of 900...920 °C for 3 hours in a generator gas atmosphere, direct extrusion of the bushing at a temperature of 600 °C. Extrusion at a temperature of 600 °C ensures the production of a billet with a porosity of 15 % of high quality due to dynamic recrystallization processes. The microstructure and physical and mechanical properties of the "bushing" part are studied.
