The occurrence of landslides in the Chechen republic influenced by nanoparticles

Introduction. The article presents the results of studies on the risk of landslides caused by nanoparticles. The scheme of manifestation of the factors of occurrence and development of landslides is presented. The research results may be useful in developing a new mechanism for the movement of landslide geomass, in which nanoparticles play a particularly important role, accelerating the movement of the landslide along the surface of the sliding mirror. Materials and methods. In the course of the study, a well-known hierarchical method was used in mathematics, when a given set of different objects are sequentially divided into subordinate subsets, gradually specifying each object of such a classification. The basis for such a division is the selected essential feature. Results. During the research, it was found that the shape of the landslide site becomes more complicated depending on the permeability values of the displaced geomass and terrain, as well as higher vegetation growing on the slope. An example is a very complex form of a landslide that occurred in the upper reaches of the village of Grush Court. Discussion. The considered methodological approaches made it possible to develop a basic scheme for the model of the occurrence and development of a landslide, which reveals the existing relationships between the control variables and, consequently, the basic mathematical equations based on the ongoing processes. Conclusion. The identification and justification of a new mechanism for the movement of landslides, based on taking into account the displacement of their geomass of nanoparticles, makes it possible to clarify the risk of the occurrence of landslide displacements and, moreover, contributes to the prediction of conditions and time of their occurrence.
