A METAL-ORGANIC FRAMEWORKS (MOF)-BASED ELECTROCHEMICAL BIOSENSOR WITH A WIDE LINEAR RANGE FOR GLUCOSE DETECTION

Diabetes mellitus has become a serious public health problem worldwide, while convenient and frequent evaluation of blood glucose levels could control the development of diabetes which is of vital importance in diabetes management.Current home-based glucose testing, including fingerstick blood testing and continuous glucose monitoring, suffers from low compliance and potential infection [1].This paper presents a mental organic frameworks (MOF)-enhanced glucose oxidase (GOx)-based electrochemical biosensor for glucose detection with a wide linear range, high stability, and easy fabrication, which has the potential for glucose testing in various biofluids to provide alternatives for invasive blood glucose testing so as to improve the compliance and reduce the potential of infection.
