CONCENTRATION-BASED ANTICANCER DRUG SORTING FOR IN VITRO COMBINATORIAL EFFICACY TESTING AND PREDICTION USING MAGNETIC MICROFLUIDIC DEVICE
We introduce a low-cost, reusable magnetic microfluidic device (MMD) with a circularly designed interdigitated electrode (IDE) for screening the most effective combinations of magnetically controlled anticancer drugs (MAD).The device enables concentration-based sorting and label-free quantification, facilitating drug dose testing (IC50) on breast cancer cells (MCF7) with just 5 concentrations (10 g mL -1 -500 g mL -1 ) collected across the designated well.As a proof of concept study, we injected Curcumin (A), Paclitaxel (B), and Quercetin (C) as an anticancer drug into the device for combinatorial testing and prediction for all possible concentration combinations.
