TOWARDS PRECISION OPTOGENETIC CONTROL OF MAMMALIAN CELL SIGNALING PATHWAYS BASED ON MICROFLUIDICS
Optogenetics is an effective method for controlling cell states with high precision in both temporal and spatial aspects, showing enormous potential applications.Currently, optogenetics has been applied to study intracellular signaling pathways in mammalian cells [1], regulating processes such as cell growth, differentiation, and apoptosis. However, most existing research focuses on cell populations or limited number of cells, lacking simultaneous monitoring and optogenetic control of many single mammalian cells. Therefore, in this study, a microfluidic chip is proposed for the localization and capture of multiple single cells [2], coupled with a precision control platform for monitoring and optogenetic control of each cell's state.
