Roles of driving potential and thresholds of particle emission from a compound nucleus in the production of evaporation residues
Using the dinuclear system model, the influence of driving potentials and thresholds of particle emission from a compound nucleus on the formation of evaporation residues is studied in complete fusion reactions. The experimental maximum production cross sections and excitation functions of evaporation residues in the $xn$, $pxn$, and $\ensuremath{\alpha}xn$ channels of complete fusion reactions leading to compound nuclei with atomic numbers ${Z}_{\mathrm{CN}}$ = 84, 90, and 92 are well described and several predictions are made.
