CHARACTERIZATION OF UV NAIL SCULPTING GEL FOR LOW-COST APPLICATIONS IN MICROFLUIDICS
Currently, polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) is one of the most used materials for the manufacture of microfluidic systems since it allows quick and simple fabrication. However, in our country, this material is expensive which hinders its use in academic works. This motivates the search for low-cost materials with similar characteristics that can replace PDMS in manufacturing microfluidic chips. In this work, we report a potential low-cost alternative material for microchip construction as UV nail sculpting gel, which was properly characterized.
