SENSITIVE ARSENITE DETECTION BASED ON GRAPHENE ION-SENSITIVE FIELD-EFFECT TRANSISTORS
Arsenite (As 3+ ) poses severe health risks, including cancers and cardiovascular diseases [1].Traditional colorimetric detection methods are portable yet inaccurate, contrasting with sensitive yet non-real-time ICP-MS.Ion-sensitive field-effect transistors (ISFETs) are emerging as sensitive, low-limit, real-time potentiometric sensors, yet complex and expensive biosensors still dominate [2].To address these challenges, we fabricate lowcost As 3+ sensors using interdigital graphene ISFETs integrated with 5,10,15,20-Tetrakis(4-methoxyphenyl)-21H,23H-porphine cobalt (II) (TMOPP-Co) ion-sensitive membranes (ISM), achieving a wide detection range (0.1 ppt to 10 ppm) and an ultralow limit of detection (0.1 ppt). Moreover, sensitivity in water and PBS buffer, is 18 mV/decade and 13 mV/decade, respectively.
