Effect of high-temperature thermomechanical treatment modes on change of physical and mechanical properties of reinforcing steels
The effect of high-temperature thermomechanical treatment modes on the formation of physical and mechanical properties of reinforcing St3, St5 steels is considered. It is revealed that during the high-temperature thermomechanical treatment of St5 steel it is advisable to withstand the deformation temperature in the range of 1000...1050 °С, in order to guarantee the production of fittings of a given class. It is shown that St3 steel in bars with a diameter of 14 mm is effectively processed by high-temperature thermomechanical treatment, hardening to the strength class At400. The mechanical properties after high-temperature thermomechanical treatment are stably stored after tempering using electric heating to temperatures of 350...370 °С.
