Potters in between Nicosia and Lapithos (Cyprus): Preliminary archaeological and archaeometric evidence from the Vitonos street excavations (Nicosia)

Rescue excavations carried out by the Department of Antiquities of Cyprus in Nicosia unearthed evidence of pottery production in Vitonos Street, right outside the Venetian walls. Preliminary archaeometric investigations enabled us to define it chemically and to point out close connections with the workshops of Lapithos.
