A comment on the higher-spin gauge models

We examine the higher-spin gauge models which are free on-shell and whose cubic vertex is BRST-exact. We show that these are free off-shell as well as on-shell. The key equation for this relates the derivative of the total deformed action [Formula: see text] with respect to the deformation parameter g to an [Formula: see text]-exact term.

Abstract

We examine the higher-spin gauge models which are free on-shell and whose cubic vertex is BRST-exact. We show that these are free off-shell as well as on-shell. The key equation for this relates the derivative of the total deformed action [Formula: see text] with respect to the deformation parameter g to an [Formula: see text]-exact term.
