From Economy to Noonomy (Theses on the Issue of the Intellectual Creative Aspect Strategy of the Societal (Noo) Transformation)

This paper explores the transition from traditional economy to noonomy, an intellectual-creative paradigm based on collective intelligence, “non-machinized” activities and cognitive ecosystems. The author analyzes the exhaustion of the industrial-capitalist model, manifested in resource depletion, financialization, cognitive inequality and the crisis of the classical paradigm of “economics”. Nootransformation based on four vectors is considered as an alternative: scientific and technological progress (AI, NBICSconvergence), diffusion of property (hybrid and associative forms of ownership, etc.), socialization of society (priority of collective interests, “noohuman” as a subject of meaning-making) and solidarism (cooperation of interests for the public good). It is shown that digitalization accelerates the reduction of mechanized labor, freeing up the life time of humankind for creative self-realization, but at the same time creating the risks of “information alienation”. Noonomy is opposed to the “knowledge economy” (being to some extent its “continuation” and negation) through the rejection of capitalization of intellectual products in favor of open ecosystems and horizontal cognitive cooperation. The concept of “crystallization of noonomy” is introduced as a network model in which creativity and cooperative production of meanings become the core of development. The author substantiates the need for conscious management of strategic transformation, where noonomy acts as a strategic response to global civilizational challenges and forms a new basis of social reproduction.
