Gibraltar y su encaje en la Unión Europea
Gibraltar is a strategic enclave located at the southernmost end of the Iberian Peninsula, adjacent to the Kingdom of Spain. Ceded to the United Kingdom in 1713, the territory has been and continues to be the subject of a territorial dispute between the United Kingdom and Spain, and a major point of tension in diplomatic relations due to various conflicts generated by the area, in addition to the complex status of the territory within the European Union. This work addresses issues such as the transformation of the Gibraltarian economy and its impact on the region, as well as Gibraltar’s legal and economic position within the European Union and the particularities regarding the application of EU Law.
