La transparencia sobre la identidad de los asistentes parlamentarios: un análisis de la Resolución de la Mesa del Congreso de los Diputados de 28 de mayo de 2024
The Congress of Deputies provides the parliamentary groups with assistants to support deputies in exercising their functions. In addition, the parliamentary groups may also hire other employees to perform similar support functions with their own funds. However, contrary to what happens with the staff employed by the Congress of Deputies, the identity of the staff hired directly by the parliamentary groups is not public. In this article, we critically examine the arguments put forward by the Congress of Deputies to deny access to information on the advisors hired directly by the parliamentary groups.
