Protección de datos de carácter personal y autonomía de las confesiones religiosas en el ordenamiento español y en la jurisprudencia de los tribunales de la Unión Europea

This paper studies the national and European regulations on the protection of personal data and their relationship with the autonomy of religious denominations. It analyses the jurisprudence of the Constitutional Court and the EU Courts of Justice on this matter and its impact on religious denominations. These data enjoy reinforced protection and have led some religious denominations to issue their own regulations that guarantee and complement their particularities while respecting European and national regulations.
