Udział Polski we wzmocnionej współpracy oraz uproszczona procedura zmiany unijnych traktatów
The author analyses cases in which the Republic of Poland has acceded to the mechanism of enhanced cooperation based on Article 20 of the Treaty on European Union, as well as situations in which Poland has agreed to one of the so-called passerelle clauses contained in the EU treaties. A review of the available information sources shows that Poland is currently participating in enhanced cooperation with regard to the provisions on the EU unitary patent, and has also notified the Council and the European Commission of its intention to join the European Public Prosecutor’s Office. In addition, Poland has given its consent to the amendment of Article 136 TFEU made in the framework of the simplified procedure for amending the treaties (the so-called passerelle clause).
