Research on the influence mechanism of digital economy on the geographical distribution of enterprise supply chain under the national unified market
Based on the panel data of 6,384 enterprises, this paper uses the fixed-effect model and instrumental variable method to carry out an empirical study. The mechanism test reveals that the digital economy triggers economies of scale and resource agglomeration effects by increasing the sales growth rate of enterpris-es, and accelerates the crowding out of small enterprises under the synergistic effect of the national unified market, forcing the supply chain to shorten the ge-ographical distance. The results show that the national unified market provides an institutional basis for the spatial reconstruction of the supply chain empow-ered by digital technology, but its effect is significantly moderated by the heter-ogeneity of the nature and scale of enterprise property rights.
