Small-Signal Modeling and Impedance Analysis of Doubly Salient Electrical-Magnetic Generator Considering Saturation
With the development of more electric aircraft (MEA), the increase of nonlinear loads brings instability problem to the electrical power system (EPS). In this paper, the high voltage direct current (HVDC) doubly salient electrical-magnetic generator (DSEG) based EPS is taken as the research object, and the small signal impedance model considering saturation is established. Relevant factors affecting the stability and impedance model of the system, including speed, generating and field current, which are analyzed in terms of bode diagrams and impedance stability criterion. Time-domain simulation is employed to verify the accuracy of the theoretical analysis and proposed model.
