Application and development of OPM-MEG technology
In recent years, with the rapid development of science and technology, Magnetoencephalography (Meg) has been widely used in neuroscience and clinical medicine because of its high spatial and temporal resolution. As an important branch of MEG technology, the MEG system based on Optically Pumped Magnetometers (OPMs) is emerging with its unique advantages. However, the high cost, large SQUID and stringent requirements for environmental conditions limit the use of SQUID in clinical applications. By contrast, Optically Pumped Magnetometer (OPM) Meg is becoming a hot research and potential clinical tool in MEG field because of its portability, wearability and high sensitivity. This paper reviews the recent progress of OPM-MEG technology, including its research and application in signal processing, multi-source detection, bad channel recognition, coregistration, pattern recognition and clinical application.
