Generic Algorithm Based Parameter Optimization for an S-SP Compensation Topology Based Inductive Power Transfer System
The misalignment of coils and the variation of load resistance can result in unstable output voltage in inductive power transfer (IPT) systems. To address this issue, a genetic algorithm (GA) based optimization for parameter values of three compensation capacitors in the S-SP topology based IPT system is proposed in this paper. The fluctuation of output voltage under various coupling coefficients and load resistances are employed as the optimization objective while the system transfer efficiency is employed as the constraint condition. The proposed method is evaluated on a prototype S-SP topology based IPT system, of which the output voltage shows a good robustness against the misalignment of coils.
