Characteristic Analysis of Coupling Mechanism for Wireless Power Transfer System with Transparent Window Used in Coal Mine
Wireless power transfer technology demonstrates significant advantages and has great convenience for use in coal mines. Due to the abundance of explosive gases in underground coal mines, electrical equipment must operate inside an explosion-proof shell. Metal explosion-proof shells have eddy current effects and magnetic shielding characteristics, which can affect the coupling path of wireless power transfer magnetic fields and hinder energy transmission. This paper proposes a model by adding a transparent window to the explosion-proof shell, which can partly reduce the shielding effect caused by the metal shell. The simulation results calculated by the Maxwell module in ANSYS software show that the proposed window structure can weaken the shielding effect of metal shells on magnetic fields, increase energy transmission, and improve system efficiency.
