Analysis of Open Capacity and Overloaded Lines of Distribution Networks in Jiangsu Province
Under the background of increasing power demand and the rising proportion of renewable energy generation, urban distribution networks are often faced with insufficient open capacity, making distribution networks upgrading a necessity. This article delves into load rate and open capacity data from more than 15,000 lines in four cities in Jiangsu Province in China between 2020 and 2021. Various factors such as industrial structure, weekends, seasons, temperature, weather, renewable energy generation were considered in the analysis of the reasons for line overload and insufficient open capacity. In addition, based on the characteristics extracted from the data, this article offers the power company recommendations for distribution network upgrades and electricity consumption guidelines.
