Capacity Configuration of Distributed Wind Storage Systems Considering Random Scenarios
The unpredictability of distribution side output and user side load in remote areas, including plateaus, mountains, and islands, has led to a notable increase in the fluctuation of microgrids. The variability of wind conditions gives rise to inadequate aerodynamic torque, which in turn precipitates frequent start-stop cycles and wind abandonment of wind turbines. Considering the above, this paper puts forward a proposal for a research project on the optimisation of distributed wind storage capacity configuration for micro grids. From the standpoint of efficacy and cost-effectiveness, a multi-objective function is devised with the objective of minimizing power fluctuations and the total operating cycle cost of the micro grid system. Constraints are defined in order to construct a hybrid energy storage capacity optimisation configuration model that balances energy storage capacity, power fluctuations and wind storage system power constraints. The Cplex solver is employed to generate the optimal configuration decision, thereby achieving capacity optimisation of wind storage systems for microgrids. Experimental evidence substantiates the assertion that, under the configuration results, the hybrid energy storage system can effectively mitigate power fluctuations in the distribution system, and the wind curtailment rate can be reduced to 4.58%, with favorable prospective applications.
