An Active Disturbance Rejection Control Strategy for the HVDC Generation System of More Electric Aircraft
The high voltage DC (HVDC) power generation system is one of the large capacity power supply systems in more electric aircraft (MEA). The power quality of HVDC power generation system is related to the safety of the aircraft electrical equipment, in which the voltage regulator directly affects the steady state and dynamic performance of the output voltage. However, the traditional PI voltage control is difficult to improve the dynamic performance of wound rotor synchronous machine (WRSM) power generation system under load variations. This article focused on the WRSM HVDC power generation system of MEA, a voltage regulation control algorithm based on active disturbance rejection control (ADRC) is proposed. The theoretical analysis and experiment results demonstrate that the proposed ADRC strategy can effectively improve the dynamic performance of the HVDC generation system of MEA.
