A Novel Permanent Magnet Synchronous Machines with Improved Magnetic Field Characteristics and Performance Analysis
Under conventional design methods, the stator, rotor and other components of the machine have uneven saturation due to the armature reaction, which is not conducive to further improving machine performance. By analyzing the distribution characteristics of the synthesized magnetic field of the machine, the specific principles and effects of the influence of armature magnetic field on different areas of the machine were obtained. The improved machine design methods considering armature reaction has been proposed to address the above-mentioned issues for different areas. Based on theoretical analysis and finite element analysis (FEA), the effect and their reasons for the improved design of different areas of machine were analyzed about torque quality.
