Model Prediction Control Combing Kinetic Energy Based Rotor Speed Control for PMSG-WECS
Based on the system kinetic energy and Model Prediction Control, a wind turbine control strategy is proposed for PMSG-WECS. Compared with the maximum power point tracking control, smoothing effect of rotor kinetic energy control on output power is proved. The feasibility of MPC control strategy on single machine side of wind turbine is verified. Based on Matlab/Simulink, a single wind turbine model is established, simulation results confirm the effectiveness of the strategy.
