Electrochemical Performance of Zn/Co Metal-Organic Framework/Reduced Graphene Oxide Nanocomposite for Energy Storage Applications
Metal-organic frameworks (M0Fs), composed of electrical active sites, large surface area, configurable porosity, and very beneficial for charge transfer. The goal of this study was to develop bimetallic MOF-nanocomposite on reduced graphene oxide (rGO) surfaces, and used in energy storage devices. The bimetallic-material/rGO exhibited a significant specific capacitance, along with remarkable rate capability, energy density, and power density. The electrochemical findings the capacity of 411 farad per gram, energy density of 58 watt-hour per kilogram energy density, and power density 501 watt per kilogram at a current density of 1 ampere per gram. The results indicated that bimetallic-MOF/rGO nanoparticles suitable for energy storage applications.
