Investigation on Error Decomposition-Based Feedback Control Strategy
Error feedback control in classical control theory is known for its strong stability and robustness, but the error directly acts on the controller to generate control signal, leading to insufficient control accuracy. Therefore, this study improves the error feedback control strategy by introducing an error decomposer that extracts the main components of the error signal based on the plant's characteristics. Suitable sub-controllers are then designed according to specific control objectives, enabling personalized and precise control. To verify the feasibility and performance of the improved strategy, error decomposition-based feedback control is applied separately to a single-phase Boost PFC with constant resistive, constant power, and constant current loads. The results demonstrate that the improved strategy achieves precise control targets, with more accurate voltage tracking and reduced THD compared to traditional feedback control.
