Analysis of Fundamental Electromagnetic Performance of Stator Permanent Magnet Bearingless Slice Motor Topology
The basic design of a bearingless slice motor directly determines the basic performance in terms of suspension and torque. Performance studies for topological cluster of stator permanent magnet type bearingless slice motor (SPMBSM) will provide a strong design basis for the selection of this type of motor. This paper presents a method for designing the polar arc coefficient of tooth width for different stator to rotor ratios. Through a series of simulation experiments, the basic laws of SPMBSM with different stator-rotor ratios are presented in terms of electromagnetic properties and stiffness properties. These works have a certain prospect of engineering application.
