Key Technologies Review for New-Type Power Systems
Against the backdrop of increasingly severe global climate change and resource-environmental constraints, the construction of a new-type power system centered on renewable energy has emerged as an inevitable trend in global energy development. This transformation is not only crucial for national energy security and sustainable economic development but also a pivotal path to achieving the goals of peaking carbon emissions and achieving carbon neutrality. The establishment of a new-type power system represents a profound overhaul of traditional power systems, necessitating comprehensive upgrades and innovations across multiple dimensions, including power supply structure, grid configuration, operational mechanisms, and technological systems. This paper aims to provide an overview of the key technologies underpinning the new-type power system from four perspectives: grid technology, energy-efficient utilization technology, energy-efficient storage technology, and shared key supporting technologies. It seeks to offer valuable insights and references for research and practice in related fields.
