A Motor Vibration Suppression Method Based on Vibration Reduction Coils
Motors are widely used in transportation facilities, household appliances, instrumentation and other important fields. Low vibration noise has become one of the important performance evaluation criteria for Motor equipment. This paper analyzes the vibration characteristics of the motor under different operating conditions, and explores the main vibration radial electromagnetic force harmonics that cause motor vibration under different operating conditions. This paper then proposes a method for motor vibration suppression based on vibration reduction coils (VRC). The air-gap magnetic field generated by the VRC will be coupled with the original motor air-gap magnetic field to produce a radial electromagnetic force with the same amplitude and anti-phase as the resonant radial electromagnetic force by analyzing the winding method of the VRC and the harmonic current injection method. It will achieve the effect of attenuating the resonant radial electromagnetic force and suppressing the motor vibration.
