A Strategy of Adjusting the Emergency Repair Program for Sudden Risk Under Ice Disasters

In response to the sudden occurrence of unexpected events such as broken lines and fallen towers during the evolution of ice disasters, the original repair program cannot cope with such sudden risks, which ultimately cause the power grid to face widespread load loss or even collapse, this paper proposes a strategy of adjusting the emergency repair program in the event of sudden risks under ice disasters. First, the ice thickness model and fault probability model of transmission lines and towers under ice disasters are established. Furthermore, the time-series load loss risk of the transmission lines in ice disaster areas is calculated and a mix-integer linear programming model is established based on it to obtain the original repair program with the objective function of minimizing the amount of grid load loss risk. Then, the time-series load loss risk of the transmission lines in ice disasters areas after the grid suffers from a sudden risk is calculated, which can be used as a criterion of weather the grid is in great risk or it is necessary to adjust the original repair program. Finally, the strategy of adjusting the emergency repair program is used to ensure the grid security when suffering a sudden risk. The original repair program is used to compared with the emergency adjustment program to prove the validity and economy of the proposed method.
