Design and Analysis of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Machine with High Power Density for Aircraft Starter-Generator
To meet the high power density and high operating efficiency demand of aircraft starter-generators, a design scheme of a stator-sealed cooling hair-pin winding synchronous motor is proposed in this paper. The electromagnetic characteristics of both electric and generating operation conditions are analyzed, and the cooling structure is innovatively designed. Furthermore, the temperature distribution of the motor under maximum power operating conditions is analyzed to verify the effectiveness of the heat dissipation structure scheme.
