Power Leverage Mechanism Based Energy Management for Hybrid AC/DC Microgrids Cluster
Hybrid AC/DC microgrids offers a promising way to harness renewable energy resource while combining the advantages of efficiency and flexibility at the same time. In the face of complex and variable operating conditions, microgrids cluster often faces unbalanced load distribution, which could reduce efficiency and impair reliability in the long term. In this context, DC power flow controller (DCPFC) is applied for coordinated power management. Then the power leverage mechanism is demonstrated, enabling more flexible control of AC MG output power. The effectiveness of proposed power management strategy is verified by simulation results.
