Configuration Method for PVB System Based on the Resource of Zero-Carbon Buildings

As energy demand in the construction industry increases, reducing energy consumption and achieving zero-carbon emissions have become important goals. This paper proposes an integrated configuration method for photovoltaic (PV) and energy storage (ES) systems on the basis of the resource endowment of public buildings. The aim is to enhance the self-sufficiency of building energy and reduce carbon emissions by optimizing the design of the PV system and the capacity of ES. The study first analyzes the impact of PV modules on the heating and cooling loads and lighting loads of buildings. It then establishes a model for hybrid ES systems of lithium-ion batteries and supercapacitors, considering the ES system's economic and technical performance. Through case analysis, the proposed method's ability to reduce the overall system cost and enhance energy utilization efficiency has been confirmed. The results indicate that the integrated configuration method can increase the energy output and economic benefits of building PV systems, helping to promote the construction sector towards zero-carbon goals.
