Improvement Technology of Driving-environment Using Two-Degree-of-Freedom Active Seat Suspension: Design of Ride Comfort by Vibration Control Using Voice Coil Motor
One of the issues with ultra-compact mobility vehicle is the deterioration of passenger comfort due to vibrations generated in the vertical and pitch directions. Therefore, improvement of ride comfort using active seat suspension, which is mounted on the seat to control vibrations transmitted to the passenger, has been considered. Regarding passenger ride comfort, vertical and pitch vibration are perceived differently for the same frequency. Therefore, improvement in ride comfort can be expected by designing the vibration characteristics generated in the two directions separately. In this study, the design of vibration characteristics using a controller with feedback control was considered. As a result, it was clarified that while the frequency response can be designed by setting the feedback gain, the control performance deteriorates depending on the feedback gain to be set.
