Optimization Schemes for Auxiliary Power to Enhance the Generator Leading Phase Capability
The generator leading phase is an important measure to solve the problem of excess reactive power. However, reducing the terminal voltage in the leading phase operation will decrease the auxiliary power voltage, limiting the leading phase capability. Therefore, this paper analyzes the impact of transformer tap changes and busbar interconnection switch adjustments on the flow distribution. And propose a two-stage auxiliary power operation mode and topology optimization method. It establishes mathematical optimization models for two stages and solves them using the Discrete Particle Swarm Optimization(DPSO) and Binary Particle Swarm Optimization Algorithm(BPSO), which can provide a scheme before the generator leading phase experiment. The verification results of the example show that this scheme significantly improves the generator leading phase capability and can provide guidance and reference on the site.
