Strategy for Improving Service Quality of Virtual Power Plant Considering Customer Satisfaction

With a large number of new energy vehicles and power generation equipment connected to the grid, the power supply stability of the grid will be greatly affected. The introduction of virtual power plant (VPP) to participate in demand response (DR) can realize peak cutting and valley filling of load, and improve the power supply stability of the grid. However, when the virtual power plant participates in the DR, it will require users to adjust their electricity consumption behavior, resulting in the decrease of users' satisfaction with electricity consumption. Therefore, it has become an urgent issue to quantitatively measure the satisfaction of flexible load users and mitigate the impact of VPP's participation in DR on users' electricity consumption satisfaction. Consequently, a VPP DR transaction model is proposed that takes into account customer satisfaction with electricity consumption, along with the categorization of flexible loads within VPP. Taking into account different flexible load users' electricity consumption pattern, influencing factors and service modes of participating in DR, subdivision satisfaction models of two types of flexible load users are constructed respectively. The effectiveness of the proposed model is verified by a simulation example, which provides a feasible solution for improving the service quality of virtual power plant.
