Improved Fluctuation Suppression Control for the Grid-Connected Converter of Distributed Generations

Effectively dampening fluctuations in DG's grid-tied converters markedly bolsters the stable functioning of the power system. This paper proposes a fluctuation suppression strategy of grid-connected converter of DG built upon adaptive-backstepping sliding mode control. First, the basic structure of the grid-connected converter of DG is described, and a mathematical model under the two-phase dq rotating coordinate system is established. On this basis, an adaptive sliding mode control strategy is suggested as a means to ensure that the grid-connected converter can track and suppress the external interference of the system in real time, and enhance the ability of the system to deal with power fluctuations. Finally, through simulation analysis, the proposed control strategy can achieve tracking error when the system is disturbed, and the error waveform becomes more stable, and the recovery time is faster, which proves that the adaptive reverse sliding film control has better error tracking performance and better dynamic response performance than the traditional PI control, and is insensitive to variations in system parameters.
