Scheduling of Virtual Power Plant Operators in Aggregated Data Centers Considering Carbon Trading and Green Electricity Trading
In recent years, coal-fired units have been gradually retired, and the proportion of renewable energy access has been increasing. Nowadays, most research focuses on load modeling of data centers to improve the demand response ability of data centers, which leads to increasingly serious energy consumption and carbon emissions of data centers, resulting in resource waste and intensified greenhouse effect. In this paper, a scheduling considering carbon trading and green electricity trading of virtual power plant operators in aggregated data centers considering the role of production and consumption is proposed. This method is based on the data center load model and demand response scheme, while considering the interaction mechanism of carbon trading and green certificate trading, combined with renewable energy access and waste heat recovery technology, the thermoelectric coupled energy management framework of virtual power plant is constructed. This reduces the total operating cost of the system, while effectively reducing carbon emissions.
