Analysis and Control Strategy Study of Large-Scale Pumped Storage Power Station Phase Modulation Operation
The phasing operation of pumped storage units can improve the stability and reliability of the new power system, but the frequency and time length of phase modulation operation of major pumped storage power stations in China are currently low. In this paper, the operation principle and requirements of phasing operation are analyzed, and a control strategy of the unit phasing operation is developed. Then the phase-shifting operation of Changlongshan Pumped Storage Power Station is taken as an example to prove the technical and economic feasibility of the phase-shifting operation. This study provides the theoretical basis and technical reference for the application of pumped storage stations in new power systems.
