Bidirectional SP-Type Wireless Power Transfer System Based on Parity-Time Symmetry Condition

In recent years, wireless power transfer, which enables power transmission without wiring, has attracted attention. The series-parallel type, which is capable of bidirectional power transfer, requires an external inductor on the secondary side. This study aims to improve the robustness of the wireless power transfer system with external inductance against coupling coefficient variations by introducing the Parity-Time symmetry theory. Simulations and experiments with frequency control using Parity-Time symmetry theory. In addition, the parameter characteristics of this system were examined.

Abstract

In recent years, wireless power transfer, which enables power transmission without wiring, has attracted attention. The series-parallel type, which is capable of bidirectional power transfer, requires an external inductor on the secondary side. This study aims to improve the robustness of the wireless power transfer system with external inductance against coupling coefficient variations by introducing the Parity-Time symmetry theory. Simulations and experiments with frequency control using Parity-Time symmetry theory. In addition, the parameter characteristics of this system were examined.
