Impact of Distributed Energy Resources Integration on Voltage Vector Dynamics and Load Operation in Distribution Systems
With the large-scale integration of new energy sources, voltage dynamic issues in distribution systems have become more frequent, posing a threat to normal load operation. This paper explores the impact of new energy integration on the voltage vector dynamics and load operation performance in distribution systems, analyzing the changes in system structure and operational characteristics after new energy integration. Subsequently, a typical distribution system scenario with voltage vector-sensitive loads is constructed on the MATLAB/Simulink platform to simulate and compare load operation before and after the integration of new energy sources, analyzing the effects on different types of loads under the same disturbance. The results show that when the same power disturbance occurs in the distribution system, the voltage vector dynamic issues are more severe in systems with integrated new energy, and compared to systems without new energy integration, the integration of new energy sources can to a certain extent reduce the operational performance of asynchronous motors, inverters, and doubly-fed induction generators after disturbances.
