Research on Internal Reactive Power Optimization Strategy for Offshore Wind Farms Considering Minimization of Line Losses
During the operation of offshore wind farms, the transmission of large amounts of reactive power through the collector lines can lead to increased active power losses. In order to avoid voltage fluctuation and network losses caused by unreasonable reactive power distribution, an internal reactive power optimization strategy for offshore wind farms considering minimization of line losses is proposed in this paper. Combining the topological structure of the wind farm, the proposed strategy takes the reactive power output of each wind turbine as the optimization object, minimizing the line losses on the basis of improving the voltage quality of the internal nodes of the wind farm. Based on the traditional Particle Swarm Optimization algorithm, asynchronous learning factors and a segmented nonlinear inertia weight are introduced to improve the algorithm for solving the reactive power optimization model, thereby ensuring a rational allocation of reactive power among all units. Case study results are presented to validate the effectiveness of the proposed strategy.
