Repair Crew Scheduling for Distribution System Restoration Considering Unbalanced Voltage Degree
Effective repair crew scheduling can accelerate the restoration of distribution systems (DSs) after disaster-induced outages. The existing repair crew scheduling work assumed that the DS is balanced. Nevertheless, the voltage imbalance issue becomes more severe due to the high penetration of distributed generation, which will impair the security of DSs during the restoration process. To address this issue, this paper integrates voltage imbalance constraints into the three-phase DS restoration. Firstly, the coupling relationship between phases is modeled, and the three-phases unbalanced voltage constraints are formulated to limit the difference between phase voltages. Next, a cooper-ated repair crew scheduling and service restoration model for three-phase DS is established with the purpose of maximizing the load restoration. Finally, the proposed model is test on the IEEE 37-bus system. The simulation results show that the integration of voltage imbalance constraints will affect the load restoration schemes and mitigate the voltage imbalance level, improving the security of DSs during the restoration process.
