An Affine Arithmetic-Based Optimization Method of Integrated Electricity-Gas System Considering Multiple Uncertainties
The integrated electricity-gas system has emerged as a promising solution to the escalating energy and environmental crises. A pivotal challenge in achieving coordinated optimization of electric and gas networks is the optimal power-gas flow problem, which is inherently a nonconvex nonlinear programming issue with substantial computational complexity, further compounded by the presence of uncertainties. This paper introduces effective modeling methods and solution algorithms to address these challenges. First, the optimal power-gas flow problem is modeled as a mix-integer-linear-program by incorporating operational condition and utilizing a specialized sequence set methodology. Second, the uncertainty optimal power-gas flow problem of the system is addressed in an affine form ensuring robust handling of uncertainties. Finally, the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed method are validated using a typical integrated electricity-gas energy system.
