Study of Phase-Shifted Full-Bridge Return Power Optimization Algorithm
Isolated bi-directional full-bridge DC-DC converters are capable of realizing bi-directional energy flow as well as electrical isolation, which have been widely used in fields such as micro grids and new energy generation systems. However, when phase-shifting control is performed on this converter, the converter switching loss increases, the efficiency decreases, and the device life is shortened due to the presence of return power. In this paper, single phase-shift control and double phase-shift control strategies are used respectively to minimize the return power while maintaining the stability of the output voltage on the secondary side. Finally, the effectiveness of the optimization algorithm is validated by using the MATLAB/Simulink simulation platform.
