A Day-Ahead Scheduling Model of Wind-Photovoltaic-Hybrid Pumped Storage Considering the Capacity Limitation of Transmission Lines
With the development of the national economy, the load structure presents characteristics about high at night and low at noon, the limitation of transformer capacity makes it more difficult for the power grid to absorb new energy. Hybrid pumped storage power stations can pump water to store surplus wind power and photovoltaic power during load valleys, and release the stored energy during peak load times, without being affected by the circulating water volume of upper and lower reservoirs. A day-ahead scheduling model of wind-photovoltaic(PV)-hybrid pumped storage considering the capacity limitation of transmission sections is proposed. Firstly, the wind-PV-hybrid pumped storage cooperative operation system is introduced, explaining its scheduling process. Secondly, a scheduling model considering capacity limitation of the transmission sections is established. Then, the nonlinear wind-PV-hybrid pumped storage scheduling model is converted to a mixed integer linear programming (MILP) model, which can be solved with a commercial solver. At last, a data analysis in a region of Zhejiang province is used for proof the effect of the model proposed.
